'the Blue house', is a pretty cedar clad house, set on the wooded cliff above Gurnard Bay on the Isle of Wight.
It sits within its own private 2 acre garden and has fabulous sea views over the Western Solent with a woodland walk down to the beach which the house owns part of. Located in the popular sailing village of Gurnard on the Isle of Wight 'the Blue house' has four double bedrooms overlooking the garden, a large contemporary living area with vaulted ceiling, and a wrap around deck with fabulous westerly views over to the New Forest.
The house is also suitable for wheelchairs as its all on a single level. The bedrooms all feature luxurious beds and bedding, the master bedroom has a large ensuite bathroom and triple glass doors that opens on to the deck and the romantic seaview.
The 'big' room has a 'cooks' kitchen and a sitting room which looks out over the garden.
The house is completely private and totally secluded, yet within walking distance of pubs and shops.
The famous yachting centre of Cowes is a 25 minute stroll along the sea front, there are numerous shops and restaurants and a lively scene.
The garden is a haven for wildlife including the rare red squirrel, wood-peckers, foxes, badgers and numerous birds.
The woodland walk takes you down to a quiet beach used mainly by the locals who know about it, its shallow and safe for swimming. A great spot for sun bathing as its sheltered from the wind and for evenings spent watching the sun set.
For those that like sailing, Gurnard dinghy club is on the beach and we have two Kayaks and two dinghy's available to rent.
The island is a fabulous place for walking, cycling and has numerous attractions for children and adults. It also has some of the finest beaches and one of the most unspoilt coastlines in England
